Verde Levanto
Verde Levanto offers a deep, nearly black green field with pale mineral movement. Finish is especially consequential: it changes whether the color reads as glossy and sharp or quiet and tactile.

Choose by full slab.
The movement and balance vary from slab to slab. Share a visual reference and project brief, and Mark can present current selections with full slab photographs and the details needed to make a confident choice.
Read the green under real light
Verde Levanto can look almost black in low light and richly green in brighter conditions. Pale veins cross its deep field in very different ways from slab to slab.
View a finish sample under the room's planned light and next to adjoining materials. A polished surface will behave differently from a low-sheen finish.
Use the pale veins deliberately
The veins create the stone's visual rhythm. For a wall or island, arrange images of the proposed slabs in order and mark where seams, corners, openings, and edges will fall.
Some projects benefit from a continuous vein; others from separate framed panels. Make that decision before cutting and confirm usable yield with the fabricator.
Specify marble with its use in mind
Discuss cleaning, etching, sealing, and expected wear for the intended location. The finish can affect appearance and maintenance, and the supplier should confirm what is available on the actual lot.
Selection considerations
- A leathered finish can soften the contrast between green field and pale veins.
- A dark stone should be reviewed under the room's actual lighting, including low light conditions.
- Check the placement of pale veins where edges, seams, or plumbing openings will interrupt the face.
Questions before sourcing
- Should the surface read as polished or tactile?
- How will it look under the project's lighting?
- Are adjacent slabs needed for a wall or island?
- What maintenance expectations fit the intended use?
What we verify before a quote
