Emerald Quartzite
This green selection has long, layered movement. The design opportunity is to use that direction deliberately across the planned surfaces, with the slab layout and fabrication details in mind.
Historical photographs illustrate the material; they do not establish current inventory. Current slabs, availability and pricing are confirmed for your project.

A photographed selection. Ask Mark to show available slabs for your project.
Use the direction of the stone
The photographed selection has long green bands that suggest a clear horizontal or vertical direction. A layout should show how those bands move across tops, waterfalls, walls, and returns.
For a large application, compare slab sequence and color balance before any material is reserved. One dramatic slab does not establish how the adjacent pieces will read.
Confirm the exact material
Trade names are inconsistent across suppliers. Ask for the technical classification and care recommendations attached to the actual stone offered, especially when a project calls for a particular level of resistance or finish.
A polished surface may heighten depth; a low-sheen finish can make the layering more architectural. View a physical sample under the project's light.
Selection considerations
- The photographed slab has strong horizontal movement. Orientation will make a visible difference across walls, islands, and returns.
- Stone names vary between suppliers. Review the technical information and full slab photographs for the selection proposed for your project.
- A large installation needs a layout that accounts for seam positions, thickness, finish, and usable yield.
Questions before sourcing
- Should the movement run horizontally or vertically?
- How many slabs are needed from one lot?
- Are the edges or returns visible?
- Has the fabricator reviewed the exact proposed slabs?
What we verify before a quote
- Exact supplier classification and technical data
- Current full slab images and dimensions
- Finish sample under project lighting
- Seam and orientation drawing
- Fabricator approval of usable yield
Common questions
Is the pictured slab available?
This is a material study image. Ask us to source current slabs with a similar character.
Can the bands continue through a waterfall?
Sometimes, if the selected slabs, dimensions, and cut plan support it. Review a scaled layout first.
