Amazonite
Amazonite can deliver saturated green-blue color with a broken, mosaic-like pattern. A project needs the exact selection and enough adjacent slabs to control how that busy field reads across large surfaces.
Current slabs, availability and pricing are confirmed for your project.
Choose by full slab.
The movement and balance vary from slab to slab. Share a visual reference and project brief, and Mark can present current selections with full slab photographs and the details needed to make a confident choice.
Control a high-energy composition
Amazonite can have a complex field of green-blue color, pale crystal, and darker movement. The pattern may spread across the full slab rather than center on one vein.
For a large installation, view the proposed slabs side by side at comparable scale. Consider whether seams should blend into the pattern or intentionally frame separate panels.
Coordinate color in the actual room
The green-blue balance can shift under warm and cool lighting. A physical sample should be viewed with adjacent woods, metals, and wall colors before the specification is fixed.
Discuss the exact material's technical classification, finish, edge treatment, and care with the supplier and fabricator. Trade names alone do not establish performance.
Source by desired color, not just name
Send a photograph showing the hue and amount of pale ground you want, along with dimensions, quantity, timing, and location. We can then look for slabs that fit the project rather than assume every Amazonite selection is equivalent.
Selection considerations
- The balance of green-blue, pale, and dark areas can vary sharply between pieces.
- Large walls or islands should be composed from images of every proposed slab at the same scale.
- Technical classification, finish, and care guidance should come from the supplier of the exact selection.
Questions before sourcing
- Should the color be the room's focal point?
- How much uninterrupted surface is needed?
- Are adjacent slabs from one lot available?
- What finish and use conditions are intended?
What we verify before a quote
- Color reference and lighting conditions
- Current full slab images
- Supplier technical data
- Finish and edge sample
- Fabricator layout and quote
Common questions
Will all Amazonite slabs have the same color?
No. The mix of green, blue, pale, and dark areas varies substantially. Review current slabs individually.
Can it be used on a large wall?
Potentially. The slab sequence, supports, seams, and exact material characteristics need project-specific review.
